Morning-Greet-Delightful-Treat

Howdy folks! ♥

I Love nature and I never turn down an opportunity to enjoy it! ♥

"Morning Greet, Delightful Treat"
Image url:

Sipping on my coffee on this first day of May,
With the sun shining brightly, finally on display,
A movement of a branch so close to my window pane,
Caught my eye suddenly to, my attention, gain.

I moved closer to the window to get a better look,
And I was treated to a scene in God's Coloring Book.
O such a treat on this morning to begin my day.
They don't come much better no matter what they say.

Two birds were at play, were taking center stage,
Their delightful antics my awe they did engage.
They had come to my window to perform their little skit
And I was with pleasure watching every little bit.

Their play wasn't long but it was surely sweet
As ma and pa cardinal danced upon their winged feet.
It was crystal clear this happy, wedded pair
Was showing off their Love in the crisp, morning air.

They touched their beaks together in a gentle, birdie kiss.
Then he bowed to his lady, a gentleman and void of remiss.
As he performed for her with a flirty, chirping sound
He flitted all about her, up and down, around.

She took it all in as she turned, watching every move
And I think I even saw her nod as though she did approve.
When his performance was over, he came next to her to sit.
It was just a break before scene two of their little skit.

Next, a chase began as from branch to branch they flew,
Like a game of tag to see just who could catch who.
Although, pa cardinal seemed to do the most chasing,
Ma obviously was letting him for some winged embracing.

All too soon their show closed with no drawing of a curtain,
For they perched themselves briefly and I am quite certain,
They each took a bow to themselves and then bowed to me
And off they flew away together to where I couldn't see.

Though my coffee'd become chilled, I took some more sips.
I felt blessed watching one of nature's unrehearsed clips.
Although a bit sad now, the birdie show was over,
I felt like a bunny who had just enjoyed clover.

💗 Have a blessed day! ðŸ’—

Dont-Toy-With-My-Heart

Greetings everyone, from Artsieladie! ♥

When I posted this poem on Facebook, some comments went like this:

Commenter: Awesome Artsieladie my friend""" A truth beautifully narrated with sweeter way""" voice of billions of hurted hearts

Sharon Donnelly: Thank you. I think it's one of the cruelest things one can do is play with another's heart and emotions, having no intentions of really ever loving them for real. God bless you too my friend..♥

Commenter: You're very right...And nowadays its so common on social media, where innocent souls are cheated by the fakes....

Sharon Donnelly: So true unfortunately. I guess when some people go on the Internet, they forget to bring along their conscience or perhaps, they intentionally leave it behind.

Trouble is, the "Commenter" stating what they did just previously, "And nowadays its so common on social media, where innocent souls are cheated by the fakes....", was the very same person who, a few months later began to get really sweet on me and then professed his PROFOUND Love to/for me, plus with so many images of flowers, hearts, lovey-dovey stuff, and so much other super sweet and fragrant talk, KNOWING all the while what he was professing to me was FAKE! The point is, even people who "seem" to be true and real, aren't, even when they speak against "fake-ism". So apparently I would become the innocent soul cheated by the fake, him. :(

..And then when I was able to put pieces together that were indicative of he not caring as he had professed, well then I became the bad person, of course. The Truth always comes out sooner or later and when it does, the fakers, the liars, the connivers, etc. don't like it and try to shift the blame onto someone else, like the one they've wronged especially.

"Don't Toy With My Heart"

Don't Toy With My Heart; don't play your game,
Don't mess with my mind, call it love as you claim.
Don't tease me, don't taunt me, don't tantalize...
Don't lie, don't cheat, nor try to disguise,
The fake in your heart you are feeling,
Pass me by, mine you're not stealing.
My love I'll give to a heart who'll return it
And not to a heart who'll only burn it.

So please...
Don't even knock upon the door of my heart,
And there'll be no finish without a start,
To bring me heartache and pain to endure
Is not what I want nor am I looking for.
One piece of advice before you leave,
The day is coming when you shall grieve,
Not for the hearts you've hurt in your wake,
But for your own when it becomes at stake.

Don't Toy With My Heart; don't play your game.
Keep on truckin' and bear the shame,
For one who plays with another's emotions,
Will weep one day rivers and oceans.
If you don't love me, then leave me be,
There are many, many more fish in the sea,
One day you'll fall for a heart like your own
And you shall reap just what you've sown.

"Pretending to love and care knowing it's not true,
Is toying with another's heart, a heartless thing to do."

Tree-Of-Life

Greetings everyone, from Artsieladie! ♥

We are all the branches on the Tree Of Life. ♥
"The Tree Of Life"

The Tree Of Life, sustaining of its name,
Is so much more than just a trunk to claim.
Upon this tree, many branches grow,
Some high, some in between, some rather low.
Some are short, some are long;
Some are weak, some are strong.
Some are young, some are old;
Some are shy, some are bold.
Some blend in, some stand out;
Some are tiny, some are stout.
Some are smooth, some are rough;
Some are meek, some are tough.
Some have bark, some are bare;
Some are bland, some have flair.
Some are large, some are small,
But of the tree, we're part of, all.

The Tree Of Life, to which we all belong,
We either help to weaken or we help to make it strong.
When we all work together towards a common goal,
We benefit ourselves, but as well the whole.
When we work against each other,
Instead of with, as sister and brother,
We rob The Tree Of Life, depriving its nutrition,
Should the trend continue, destruction meet fruition.
