Broken-Hearts_The-Mending-Process

Greetings everyone, from Artsieladie!

When our heart is wounded, leaving us with pain to keep,
We then must find a way to mend, repair the chasms, deep.

From the inside out, it's paramount that we heal,
To ensure we expel the toxins rather than conceal.
For should the toxins be allowed to remain and stay,
Like cancer, they will eat one's heart and Love away.

 "Broken Hearts: The Mending Process"

Only Love can heal our battered, broken hearts;
Only Love can mend our shattered, broken parts.
Love does not break our hearts but circumstances can,
Preempted by another, a woman or a man.

When a heart is filled with Love to the very brim,
And is overflowing whether for a her or for a him,
For whatever reasons, the Love's no more received,
The one in Love remaining will be profoundly grieved.

When one Loves another but can no longer this express,
'Cause the one who was receiving has no more receptiveness,
The one still in Love is left with their feelings to with deal,
With no where to send them and too painful for to feel.

When one holds another's heart in their very special place,
There is no other heart to be inserted in this one space.
So there becomes a void the one will long for to fulfill,
All the while knowing they can't and know they never will.

When we feel a void within, it's a dark and an empty place
And when we know there's no one else to fill this empty space,
We are left with no recourse, no back up plan,
Because we chose to Love with everything we can.

Letting in another soul into our deepest, inner part,
Should they make their exit, shredded becomes our heart
And since this event takes place in the deepest, inner core,
Immense, raw emotions and feelings overspill and pour.

So often when we Love and two hearts apart, break,
We become so grief stricken, resulting  in heartache.
When emotions become raw from the devastating pain,
We seek ways to relieve ourselves to be happy once again.

We do not realise how vulnerable we have become
To negative forces lurking, tempting us to succumb.
When emotions are in chaos, we're not thinking straight
This is when we can be tricked into accepting hate.

Hate will knock upon our door, offering to replace,
The pain we're feeling disguised with a happy face.
We, in our state of mind, can be then enticed.
If we are not careful, our heart can then be iced.

Hatred is of the devil, regardless how it's cloaked,
When a heart is captured, the Love within is choked.
Though we may be tempted to take the quicker route,
When we alleviate our pain, we must question our pursuit.

We must remember shortcuts can cost a hefty price,
Our pain may be lessened but hate will take a slice
That will grow much larger than the entry point has made,
Spreading wide its toxins to consume our hearts, invade.

We can't allow hatred near our open wounds to lick,
For infection can set in, make our hearts become sick
With bitterness, resentment, vengeance and this sort
And once established near impossible to abort.

So when our hearts are shattered into a gazillion pieces,
Our hearts left vulnerable, as resistance then decreases,
We must be extra vigilant when seeking pain's relief,
Trading Love for hate is bartering with the devil thief.

So even though we're hurting like no other pain,
The stabbing to the heart and weighing on our brain,
We must keep in mind although we want to blame
The fault is not with Love. It is a human shame.

Why is this important to distinguish what or who's to blame?
Why must we analyze carefully and properly lay the shame?
It's because what we need most after Love's gone bad,
Is Love that is whole to heal us to once again be glad.

If we blame the Love, we open us to the bitters of hate,
Instead of healing and restoring Love, we'll worsen our fate,
For we cannot allow hatred in to replace our Gift of Love,
For if we do, we'll abandon and forfeit what God made us of.

While we are rebuilding again our Love and our Trust,
While we are relearning again and trying to adjust,
Another, crucial factor most important not to suppress,
Is not to hate the other's soul while the issues we address.

Yes, we are tempted to with our anger, concentrate,
Towards the other heart and soul, seek a vengeance state,
But this isn't wise nor in any way a productive plus,
For when we try to destroy another, we destroy us.

We must direct our anguish and frustration, make this our goal,
Direct against the deeds, but always spare the other's soul.
Remember the other person too is still a Soul of God,
And God will not be pleased if upon their soul we trod.

If we keep Love alive in our heart and the Elements of enabled,
Namely forgiveness and understanding especially being labeled,
The door of resolution will open then remain, instead of closed,
And the chance for healing of both hearts will not of be disposed.

We must find ways to purge our pain in ways that are constructive,
Not hold it in to fester nor wrongly direct to then be destructive.
If we hold onto Love, instead of trading It in for hate,
Eventually with time, we'll again feel joy to celebrate.

Only Love can heal our battered, broken hearts;
Only Love can mend our shattered, broken parts.
Love does not break our hearts but circumstances can,
Preempted by another, a woman or a man.
