Differences are resolved without reprimanding.

"Understanding, An Element Of Love"
To understand you I wanted, this was my desire,
All you truly are, as is, for this of you I did aspire.
Perfection wasn't necessary, wanted, or by me pleaded,
Just to know your true self was all I ever wanted, needed.
To Love another deeply, a deeper understanding must be sought,
To cultivate deeper compassion, instead of doubtful thought.
Understanding is paramount for true compassion to be shown,
Especially during times of differences for respect to be kept known.
Deeper understanding decreases assumptions to be made,
Leading to misunderstandings, allowing dissension to invade.
Clear, honest communication is essential, an absolute must,
To deepen understanding between two and to build trust.
When one understands another, they aren't likely then to be
Judgmental of the other, but compassionate, when they disagree.
Agreement is not possible one hundred per cent of the time,
But with understanding established, Love remains sublime.
When Love's going swimmingly, it's the time to bolster strength,
To cultivate Love's Elements to perpetuate Love's length,
For during difficult, stressful times, when Love is being tested,
Survival of Love will depend upon what two hearts have invested.
Love has all the answers needed through good times and the bad
But few believe enough in Love's Magic, which is tragic and so sad.
Understanding, an element of Love, vital to, essential,
Lacking in Love's Equation will be direly consequential.
